Register for the Palmetto Amateur Tournament
The selection of the field for the 2010 Palmetto Amateur will be a multi-step process. Automatic invitations will be offered to the Top 20 from the 2009 Palmetto Amateur, past Palmetto Amateur Champions within the last 5 years and winners of the 2010 Verizon Junior Heritage and Southern Cross junior tournaments. Other invitations are offered to highly ranked amateur players. Invitations are considered for others who register on the Palmetto Amateur web site. Factors that enter into those considerations are 1) previous competitive record, both in higher level amateur and college tournaments and in previous Palmetto Amateurs and 2) world amateur ranking. The goal is to arrive at a competitive field of about 90 players.
